Account Inquiry

The Account Inquiry option displays the beginning and ending balance of an account and provides a detailed listing of all transactions that posted to a general ledger account for a specified range of periods.

Using

Account Inquiry Fields

Account	The account number you wish to inquire about. If you are unsure of the account number you may press F3 to bring up your chart of accounts and make your selection.
Cost Center	Choose the cost center(s) you would like to view in the account inquiry.
Beginning Period	Enter the accounting period you would like the report to begin with. Press enter to accept system defaults.
Ending Period	Enter the accounting period you would like the report to end with. Press enter to accept system defaults.
Sort	Select whether you would like to sort the transactions by Date-Source, or Source-Reference (Source-Ref).
